// WEB: ruslanperezhilo.com // Ruslan is a classically trained musician. Grew up in Riga, Latvia. Graduated the Latvian Academy of Music with a Master’s degree. Started writing electronic music and orchestral pieces using virtual instruments In the early 2000s. His works were featured in commercials for Rolls-Royce, VR video game Space Pirate Trainer, Groupon, licensed for Tirol TV, several film trailers, web-series and numerous other media. Today Ruslan is expanding his abilities in the art of orchestration and immensely enjoying the process of writing for motion pictures. Uniting classical traditions and contemporary music influences, emotional storytelling is a defining characteristic of Ruslan’s music.

I'm honoured to become the winner of the international Film Music Competition at the Transatlantyk Festival 2017 in Lodz, Poland. Fantastic experience of being there, very gratifying attention to the music and, of course, pleasure to meet so many wonderful, creative people!
